It is never too late to start Hunting for a Job.
Introduction
Making decisions is not an easy task. Sometimes even small decisions seem to become very difficult to make. For instance, if you need to decide upon which restaurant you want to go to on the week end. Even buying a gift for your mother on Christmas can make you engage your grey cells for a long time. So choosing the right job or deciding upon the field in which your interest lie depends upon a lot of things and can be a big one to make.
The panic button could be pressed for you if you feel that you have graduated and haven’t still thought of what to do about your job. Relax you are not the only one who haven’t been able to make up their mind about what to do in life. To choose a career that is suitable to you, you need to do some self analysis, so that a logical career choice could be made. Fate could be such a big temptation but then it is not the right choice for everyone.
You need to examine both your inner and your outer being. This can be a painful activity but then this is the only way you can asses yourself and fill the right job applications and land up something that you won’t hate doing.
The next step that you need to take is of examining your values. For instance you should ask yourself the question that what you are looking for in a job. Is it money, is it security, is it job satisfaction or is it climbing the corporate ladder if you work in that field. Some people just take up a job because it offers them the opportunity to travel or it gives them adequate adventure. They might not enjoy doing the work that they do but they bear with it because they want to travel.
If money is your area of concern and you take up the profession of teaching because you are good at it then you will be disappointed because this profession doesn’t offer too much money. If alongside working you want to socialize too then don’t join some company which has 14hrs of work schedule, this is because this will kill your social life.
